Press Club
If R’n’B tunes are your jam, Press Club is the bar/club for you. The popular Brunswick Street venue (on the Valley scene for 23 years) hosts the Brisbane RnB Jam night every Tuesday with live music and plenty of dancing.
Prohibition Brisbane
Open Thursday to Sunday, Prohibition is a large space on Wickham Street with bars and VIP booths that attracts a young crowd for live local house DJs, free entry and even a free sausage sizzle on Sundays.
Retro’s Cocktail Lounge
With a prime possie on the Brunswick Street Mall, Retro’s draws an eclectic crowd, thanks to its disco-inspired dancefloor and setlist of top tunes from the ‘80s to ‘00s. Open Thursday to Saturday, it’s the fun place to get loose with your crew.
Sky and Lotus
This rooftop lounge, bar and club brings international party vibes on Friday and Saturday nights with an emphasis on K-pop, R’n’B, hip-hop and house tracks spun by DJs with MCs. Expect a mixed crowd of party people.
Sub Rosa

The Beat Megaclub

The Met Brisbane
Brisbane’s biggest club venue is the place to see local, interstate and international DJs take to the decks. The Met is open Fridays and Saturdays with a student night on Thursdays and top EDM, drum’n’bass and house DJs on other nights.
