October 31 never fails to deliver a spooktacular celebration of doom and gloom, and Halloween happens to fall on a Thursday this year, giving venues across the Valley the excuse to celebrate for two whole weekends.

Finn McCool’s

The Halloween weekend also marks the traditional Gaelic festival of Samhain, and Finn McCool’s is throwing a three-day party to celebrate! With live entertainment and Guinness flowing all weekend, your Thursday, Friday and Saturday are covered.

The Valley Drive In

The annual Halloween Hysteria Party has multiplied like the walking dead, and is back for two whole nights of mayhem! Friday 25 and Saturday 26 October will be full to the brim with live rock music, spooky costumes and, of course, hysteria.

The Brightside

On Saturday 26 October, The Brightside is throwing a massive emo and pop-punk Halloween ball for everyone wanting to get their spook on. The Taking Back Saturday event will involve drink specials, prizes for the spookiest costumes and lots of head-banging tunes.

The Family

A special Halloween edition of The Biscuit Factory raves is coming to The Family on Saturday 26 October with one of the biggest line-ups ever delivered. Rave to the Grave will feature Subtronics, Boogie T and many more huge acts ready to take to the stage in the name of Halloween.

Thursday nights at Birdees are getting strange! The Strange Times Halloween Party on Thursday 31 October is set to kick Halloween up a notch with free entry, special effects make-up artists and DJs mixing all night long.

You could never accuse Retro’s of doing things by halves, and their Halloween celebration is no exception. Their three-day long Mad Hatter Halloween Party will be full of ‘80s, ‘90s and ‘00s hits, best-dressed prizes, giveaways and promotions!

It’s time to gather your seven smartest friends and prepare for some spooky trivia, all in the name of charity! Make-A-Wish Brisbane North is hosting Halloween Trivia…Haha at the Valley’s GPO, and it’s set to be a night full of trivia, games, prizes and ghostly fun!

With two whole weekends of Halloween festivities coming to the Valley, it’s going to be fangtastic fun for everyone!
