Thanks to its central location right next door to Brisbane’s CBD, there’s plenty of ways to travel to Fortitude Valley by private or public transport – day or night. With plenty of parking available and public transport options from all areas of Brisbane, the Valley is easily accessible for all.
 
Parking
 
From metered street parking to parking lots and garages, finding a park is no challenge in the Valley. Turn up or pre-book online for reduced rates. Most car parking options offer nightly and weekend parking from $10.
 
For a central location and easy access to The Fortitude Music Hall and the Valley’s main restaurant, pub, club and shop precinct, try Secure Parking – McWhirters Car Park or Cornerstone Parking – 20 Warner Street (the Valley’s cheapest option for short stay undercover parking at $4 for up to 20 minutes). Entry is via Ballow or Warner streets.
 
For Brunswick Central, Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts and the Lanes Fortitude Valley, park at Wilson Parking – Brunswick Central (free up to 1.5 hours when shopping or dining on site) or Secure Parking – 388 Brunswick Street Car Park (entry is via Berwick Street).
 
At the other end of Brunswick Street you’ll find Secure Parking – Valley Metro Car Park, located at the Valley Metro shops and close to Brisbane Showgrounds with entry via Alfred and Alden streets.
 
For Chinatown Mall and Duncan Street access, park at Secure Parking – Chinatown Car Park with entry via Gipps or Duncan streets.
 
Train
 
Fortitude Valley Station has a convenient location within the Valley Metro and is serviced by all six major train lines in South East Queensland. Late-night train services are available on Friday and Saturday nights on the Beenleigh, Caboolture and Ipswich lines.
 
Bus
 
The Valley has plenty of bus stops for travel in and out of the Fortitude Valley precinct. Outbound NightLink services operate on weekends, departing Fortitude Valley between midnight and 5am on Friday and Saturday nights. Use the Translink Journey Planner or phone 13 12 30 to organise your bus route.
 
Taxis and rideshare services

·       Outside Prohibition nightclub – left side of Wickham Street approaching Brunswick Street from Gipps Street
·       Outside McWhirters – right side of Wickham Street just past Brunswick Street intersection
·       Opposite Cloudland – right side of Ann Street approaching Duncan Street
·       Behind McWhirters – left side of Warner Street approaching Wickham Street
 
For rideshare service options to and from the Valley, download the Uber, Ola, Shebah or DiDi apps on your phone to request a driver to meet you at an allocated pickup location. Remember to choose a safe location for the driver to stop. Tip: the Valley is one of the easiest locations in Brisbane to request a driver with plenty of cars servicing the area at any time of day.
