Kicking off a whole season of long weekends for Brisbanites, the Easter long weekend is a perfect chance to hop around the Valley and eat as much chocolate as your body can handle!

Start your Easter weekend early on Thursday 18 April with your first dose of chocolate at The Stand Desserts - they’re open ‘til late, so you have plenty of time to scoff choccy desserts, ice cream and cocktails in preparation for the weekend ahead.

Once you’ve enjoyed almost too much chocolate, head to the Easter edition of Brighty Thursdays at The Brightside. The Good Friday-eve edition will kick off at 7pm, so you have max time to enjoy the free pizza, beer pong competitions, student-friendly prices and DJs!

On Good Friday, get your dancing shoes on and head to Encore’s Easter Party at The Met, and dance all night long at Brisbane’s biggest club!

Come Saturday you’re surely ready for more chocolate - stop by Doughlord for some quad choc, choc chip, and white choc and almond cookie dough, and show the Easter Bunny how it’s done.

Keep the eating rolling on Sunday morning with the Easter edition of Beirne Lane’s Brunch Club, featuring Easter-themed brunch delights, special Easter desserts, and a fresh yellow dress code to make it an unforgettable Sunday feast! If you need a sleep-in, the Easter Egg-stravaganza at Finn McCool’s will feature $12 Sunday roasts from 11:30am, plus live music from 5pm and DJs from 8pm-late.

The Easter celebrations don’t end with one too many chocolate eggs on Sunday night, though - head to the Hoppy Easter Hospo Party at the Empire on Monday 22 April for Super Smash Bros and pool competitions, DJs, and $10 burger meals from 5pm!

Tunes, chocolate, and hopping around on the dance floor? Sounds like an eggshellent weekend in the Valley!
