We all know the Valley is full of bustling venues offering world-class food and drinks! A number of venues across the Valley have recently won awards for their offerings, and it’s not hard to see why.

Finn McCool's

This bustling Irish pub recently took out the Best Marketing Campaign award at the Irish Hospitality Global Awards. This Valley favourite always works hard to deliver delicious eats and drinks to the masses, and are highly deserving of this award which shows off the hard work behind-the-scenes!

If you’re stopping by on a Sunday, you MUST try their iconic Sunday roast.

Savile Row

Savile Row has long been hailed a Valley cocktail hotspot, and the rest of the country is finally catching on! This finely tailored establishment recently took home the Cocktail Bar of the Year for Queensland, presented by The Bartender Magazine Australian Bar Awards.

Next time you’re there, try their delicious cocktail Hey Honey, featuring Roe and Co Irish whiskey, Amaro Montenegro, cherry, saffron and honey.

Little Valley

The menu at this vibrant eatery highlights China’s regional flavours, and delivers playful twists on all your favourite dishes. Little Valley was awarded its very first Good Food Guide chef hat at the 2020 Good Food Guide Awards, to the excitement of all its loyal customers. Those happy customers are also the reason Little Valley placed 30th in The Sunday Mail’s delicious.100’s people’s choice category, and 42nd in the expert’s choice.

It’s hard to pick just one dish to recommended from Little Valley – but it would be a crime to not try something from their large dim sum offerings.

Joy.

"The bravest, most single-minded, driven and personal package of all the talented newcomers to grace the Australian dining scene in the past 12 months,” is how Joy. was recently described at the 2020 Good Food Guide Awards. This intimate restaurant took out the New Restaurant of the Year award and two hats after only jumping into the Valley dining scene in late 2018. Impressively, Joy. also placed third on The Sunday Mail’s delicious.100. Their ever-changing multi-course menu is a must-try for all food lovers.

Osbourne Hotel

This popular Valley spot is known around Brisbane as the ideal spot for drinks with friends, family or colleagues and has now been hailed by the Courier Mail as the city’s best after-work drinks spot. The Osbourne Hotel took out the top place in the very competitive field, with its history and atmosphere paired with the vast food and drink offerings winning over voters’ hearts (and stomachs).

When you’re there next, the perfect snack to enjoy with your after-work drink is the popcorn chicken sliders with tempura jalapeños, cheddar cheese, chipotle mayo and bacon jam.

Honto

The menu at Honto reimagines Japanese cuisine, with a mix of classics and flavours that need to be tasted to be believed! The contemporary and moody space is always full to the brim with happy diners digging into some delicious eats, and The Sunday Mail’s delicious.100 proves that Honto is a real people-pleaser, with the restaurant being listed as Queensland’s seventeenth top restaurant. If you’re struggling to decide what to eat (we don’t blame you!), Honto’s banquet offerings are definitely recommended.

Congratulations to all of these award-winning Valley venues! Which will you visit next?
