Make a splash on Saturday 21 September at Brisbane City Council’s colourful (and free!) Pride-themed paint and sip event, hosted at Marquee Bar! Brush shoulders with fellow revellers while showing off your artistic talents over a delicious beverage upon arrival and roving canapes.

Strap on your highest heels and strut on in at 9pm to enjoy the great beats courtesy of DJs Kylie Rose and Sweaty Baby, as well as an unmissable performance by premier drag queen Sellma Soul!

Where better to celebrate Pride with your loved ones than at The Family on Saturday 21 September? Welcoming you to be loud and PROUD, the official parade after-party is hosted by Fluffy and the organisers behind Brisbane Pride Festival! A $20 ticket bought at the door will bless dancing queens with drag performances and an exclusive Pride set by Australia’s pop princess Samantha Jade!

It’s modern and artistic, just like you! Head to the Institute of Modern Art on Thursday 26 September for the highly-anticipated screening of Marlon T. Riggs' seminal documentary Tongues Untied at 6:30pm! An empowering story surrounding the life of a queer black man in the ‘80s, Tongues Untied is one film that can’t be missed this Pride. Shining a light on all that’s great and special about Brisbane’s LGBTQI+ community is CandleLight, a story-telling evening hosted by Here We Queer and Ric’s Bar. Taking place on Saturday 28 September in Ric’s Backyard, this candlelit event is a safe space to hear stories on coming out and embracing queerness from members of Brisbane’s local community. Entry is free, so head in anytime between 7pm-10pm!
