California, here we come.

The Valley recently gained a balmy addition to The Lanes tribe, already consisting of lifestyle hubs Winn Lane and Bakery Lane. Dubbed California Lane, a whole new world of food and frivolity is right around the corner for Brisbanites!

Emerging between Brunswick and McLachlan Street, California Lane sports a fresh al fresco dining element amidst established and new tenants alike, perfect for a solo treat or afternoon frolic with friends.

Inspired by the 1950’s Brunswick Street hotspot, California Café, you can expect to feast your eyes on a colourful and retro welcome - from neon signs to flamingos and pastel walls - hello perfect Instagram shot!

First your eyes, then your stomach, which will be tickled more pink than the décor itself with a range of indulgent delights from fresh Brisbane city bars and restaurants including Reverends Fine Coffee and Bar, Giardinetto, Fat Dumpling, Doughlord and more – offering courtyard dining access into the laneway.

New kids on the block include the likes of Not Another Salon, King Tiki (opening inside Crown & Co Barber), Dot Design and The Stand (hello dessert cocktails!) - proving that there’s more than meets the eye to this versatile Brisbane laneway.

To celebrate the launch of this fab new precinct, Hidden Lanes Festival is set to showcase California Lane alongside its sister laneways from 10am on  October 13. In a day full of music, food, art and everything under the social season sun, the Hidden Lanes Festival will bring new life to our beloved city, and the already pumping Fortitude Valley area.

If living your best life is right up your alley, California Lane is the place to be.
