Lunar New Year may get the party started but the BrisAsia Festival keeps it pumping throughout February. The free month-long annual festival celebrates Asian culture and will bring the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of this diverse region to the Valley from 1 to 29 February.

Art from the Margins

John Fu Chong grew up in Malaysia and studied fine art in Singapore before immigrating to Australia in 1981 where he has since worked as an artist and designer. Serenity: the art of John Fu Chong is a free exhibition featuring landmarks and rural landscapes from across Australia, a nostalgic record of Fu Chong’s exploration of his adopted homeland.

Creative Mornings 

Creative Mornings Brisbane welcomes the visual artists for BrisAsia Festival 2020 to the stage for its free monthly breakfast event: Yin Lu, Mark du Potiers and Chloe Bennett. The trio will discuss their work, ideas and process within the theme of “Invest” over coffee and breakfast.
